Map It

Post related to Map it!, Global Water

We found this challenge so interesting. We enjoyed finding out about the percentages of people with access to clean water in different countries. We thought that percentages such as 72% were high at first glance. However, we then realised that this meant that the rest of the population have no choice but to drink dirty water every day. This really made us realise how lucky we are here in Ireland where 100% of the population have access to clean water every day. We have our maps  displayed in the school for everyone to see. We surrounded our maps with water saving tips. We also surrounded our pictures with the words "Clean Water" translated into many different languages.
