Fresher Water, Thirsty Farming

We enjoyed doing this challenge. We didn't know anything about chemicals and agriculture and now we know a little bit about it. We were surprised to hear that most of the crops grown use chemicals unless they are labelled organic.

We discussed the price of organic foods versus unorganic foods and we discovered that organic foods, particularly meat, are more expensive. This often stops people from buying the organic ones.

We were surprised to hear that the chemicals can enter the water table and effect our water supply.
