In our arts and culture lesson we were trying to teach learners the concept of constructing things in proportion using play dough. But, I felt that using play dough just adds to waste that does not disintegrate naturally. Learners brought flour, food colouring and a little water to make a dough. They had fun learning the consistency of making dough. They also learnt that the dough can be buried when used and it will decompose naturally and act as fertilizer.
