Good day It is lovely to hear back from you, and we would be very interested in a skype call to share ideas. What time of the day would work for you? Our club meets on a Wednesday from 2-3pm South African time. May would be suitable for us too. Kind regards K. Keough -----Original Message----- From: bernard [mailto:b_czerwinski@interia.pl] Sent: Wednesday, April 10, 2019 10:29 AM To: K. The number and importance of the projects you are involved in are overwhelming. We will be happy to meet you on a Skype Call to exchange our experiences and ideas. Let us know if it is possible. We'd like it to be in May. And we think it would be good to exchange questions by mail before the Skype meeting. Please, let us know if it is possible and when would it be the best time for you to connect. All the best, Bernard Czerwiński and Warmian Drops Od: "K. My name is Rita Cox and I am part of the ECO club at Howick High. ECO stands for environment, community and outreach club. We have been involved in recycling at school, we take responsibility in roadside maintenance where we clean up the pavements and verges, we help in the garden at a home for mentally challenged people, we also engage with guest speakers on a regular basis about the environment and social impacts. > > We also have been involved in the Water Explorer Project for 4 years and have been in the top 5 performing schools in South Africa. We have been doing water savy projects like putting 1L water bottles into the toilet cistern which has been helping us save water each time the toilet is flushed. We also collected our grey water from the students homes and used it in our school gardens and the cricket pitch as well as collecting rainwater in our 5000L water tanks for garden use during the dry months. All these projects are important as South Africa is a water scarce country. Our school has undertaken to get rid of all alien plants and replaced them with indigenous plants that need less water. > > Our ECO club members are always eager and enthusiastic to undertake new projects and are excited to hear from you and what you are involved in. > Rita Cox
