Empowering our Water Explorers

On May 30th a group of Water explorers prepared a power point presentation to be delivered in front of all students during an assembly dedicated to the environment. The aim of the presentation was to make each and everyone aware of the problems of both waste and pollution, and how one can affect the other.

We started off this presentation by discussing paper cutting from an old newspaper dated back to 2011. This cutting draw our attention that the waste problem n Malta is on the alarming rate. Way back in 2011 if you were to do a photo imposition of Maghtab, it would take over the whole city of Valletta let alone now seven years after.

Our Water explorers explained, how the problem of waste is affecting our health, and that of the environment. They not only presented the present problems but they came up with solutions and ideas as to how this could be solved.

They presented practical ideas that could alse be done and mastered by each and everyone of us in both our household and/or at the school premises. All these efforts would help to create our environment and the places we live in, a better place for us.
