Post related to Flushed Away, Precious Water

Our grade 5 children are currently learning about Weather.  As one of the sections in the theme they are looking at water.  They completed a few lessons where they drew up charts and stuck them up in the bathrooms around the school.   The charts asked the children using the toilets to please make a mark on the chart when they flushed.  In this way the grade 5s were able to gather data on how many times the toilets were flushed a day and therefore how many litres of water was washed down the drain in one day.  These findings were written up on graphs.  Attached is a word document showing some of their work.
