Global Team of the Week goes to Home School Nature Club
Posted on 6 March 2017

Congratulations to team Home School Nature Club from South Africa for winning this week's Global Team of The Week award!

The Home School Nature Club Water Explorers are clearly a group of dedicated Explorers – they’ve completed a very impressive 15 challenges in total, with 4 of these being ones they’ve created themselves! But their award this week is specifically in recognition of their excellent efforts to share the water saving lessons they’ve learnt through Water Explorer in their wider community.

The team have achieved this by writing lots of newsreels for the Water Explorer website, and have gone even further than this and got their stories published in local newspapers! Check out this newsreel about the story they got published in the Village Talk newspaper back in November! In the article they commented on all the rubbish being dumped in the local river. A few months later and their efforts have paid off! A fence has been erected along the river bank and it looks like the area has been cleaned up.  The fence will definitely stop future rubbish polluting their precious river!

Well done to such a passionate group of Water Explorers for bringing about change!
