Congratulations to Mhlosheni Explorers from South Africa for being awarded this week’s Global Team of the Week!
Mhlosheni Primary School is in the middle of nowhere, close to the Swaziland boarder with very little resources so being sustainable is really important to them. Due to the school not having a lot of water they have built wicking beds to plant their vegetables in. They are using sustainable farming techniques to grow vegetables and any produce that is left over they pickle. The school have also made their own eco-bricks and used tippy taps and buckets to save their precious water.
Well done team!
