Amanzimtoti are making a splash!
Posted on 1 April 2019

Congratulations to Amanzimtoti from South Africa for making a splash and being awarded Water Explorer's current top team!

Obed Mlaba Technical High School is one of our newest teams who have dived into Water Explorer with innovation and enthusism. The school is based in The Valley of a 1000 Hills surrounded by many alien invasive plants like Latana, Peanut-Butter Cassia and Wattle. Their first priority was to tackle the water thirsty plants and replace them with a variety of indigenous plants that not only beautified the school and save water but also boosted the biodiversity and wildlife! The team have also started collecting grey water, growing vegetables in the garden and held a water assesmbly infront of the whole school.

We can't wait to see what the team get up to next!
