During their Natural Science lessons this year, the Grade 6 girls learnt about what a wetland is and how important it is to provide fresh water for our flora and fauna. They visited the Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens where they participated in various Waterwise activities. Combining all the information they gathered from these tasks, they put together an assembly for the primary school.

The young girls and their teachers were entertained and informed by a raindrop, a frog, a farmer and a grain of rice. These characters were interviewed with the whole school as their audience. The video of this creative Wetlands is available!
