Digging the compost back into the soils
Digging the compost back into the soils

We already have a very good and sustained recycling system set up with anti-waste being collected as well the presence of recycling bins which we make available as a depot for the surrounding community. We used tyres for a lot of activities as we know that tyres are a big problem all over the world - we wanted to find some interesting ways to reuse them to brighten up our school. We are also reaping the benefits of our lush school compost heap and gave our worm farm a fresh start recently by emptying out all of the rich worm compost. We also put up many lessons on the Water Explorers website which revolved around our water tank and the water program
