Community and Heritage- Community Fund Raising Project
Posted by glenridge pre primary, South Africa on 11 December 2015

Once again we exhibited at the Sustainable Living Show where we showcased what the children at Glenridge have been doing this year. As always, we also used this as an opportunity to teach other people about the Eco Schools programme. This year we encouraged children to write down their pledge to help look after our world.
We collected money and food items for a community feeding fund called Carrot and Peas and we also supported Slipper day.
We continue to support the local community project which grows and sells boxes of organic vegetables. We have been buying and making the vegetables available to our parents for 5 years now.
