Our Eco-buddies are fully aware of the problems associated with alien invasive plant spp. Meike from the Kloof Conservancy came to our school and gave us a quick ID lesson on alien invasives. We then set about identifying them in our school grounds and found that we actually have quite a number such as Bugweed and Castor oil bush and others. We have now erradicated a good number of them , its great to see the immediate difference and also know that we have made some instant water savings!
