Growing our own food
Posted by King's School, South Africa on 1 May 2017
Post related to Thirsty farming, Fresher Water

Being an "old" Eco-School, Kings School has had a veggie garden for a long time. We started a permaculture system in 2008, and have been growing water-friendly, pesticide and inorganic fertilizer free food since then. Our food is harvested regularly and used in the kitchen to feed the whole school. We also have a meat-free day twice or three times a week !
