Our Low Water Footprint Feast

Here we are enjoying a low water footprint feast .

Mjila water explorers did activities to explore hidden water we use , they they find that 1kg of beef consume 15 000 litres of water.They considered that beef comes fron cows and cows eat plants , plants need water to grow .Cows  took about 2 to 3 years to be ready for slaughtering  .Elictrical Machines used in the process need water and also transportation .They found that 1 burgher consume 63 litres.250ml of milk consume 250 litres .500ml of water consume 8 litres considered plastic botlle, Learners are convinced not to  buy water . They did their veget8able recipes because it is true that vegetables is take 2 to 3 months to harvested so they consume less water and they are healthy . Water explorers also check ho much water they use for a certain recipe. They  plant winter friendy seed eg  cabbage spinach peas etc . They also looked at 1 pair of jean  consume 2500 litres of water.jeans are made of cotton and cotton is the plant that need lots of water to grow .water used in factories it is end  up 2500 litres consumed by 1 pair of jean.They brainstorming about different kinds of clothes we use
