The grade 3 learners in Mrs Woodenburg's class have designed their own rain gauge. They are busy measuring and recording the data to establish the volume of water we could save if we had a 3rd Jojo tank installed. The class are deliberating on a fundrasisng initiative on how to raise the funds for the Jojo tank- they have a few suggestions which they pitched to the School Management Team. These include a civvies day on the water festival day- 15 th June for a R5-00 fee, a raffle or an entrance fee of R2-00 for outsiders attending the water festival. Once they have decided, the plans will be put into action and we will hopefully paise sufficient funds to purchase another tank.
