Our grey water experiment
Posted by Enkelobantwana full service , South Africa on 11 March 2019

After learning about the scientific method and how to apply this method to a simple research project testing grey water and fresh water on a sample of plants, we decided to put this challenge to the test. What we like most about this challenge is the integration of subjects, Natural Science and Mathematics (Measurement). Learners have to grow their plants and observe the growing patterns. They have measured the length of growth using their rulers and observing the plant health using their eyes. We have concluded that plants grown with grey water grow just as well and we are committed to save water in this way.
